Good morning, Mothers have long struggled with "chronic mom guilt,” the bad feeling you get for going to work, or enjoying a night out, or even having alone time in the bathroom away from your kids. Reshma Saujani, best known for founding Girls Who Code, says it’s often a symptom of unforgiving workplace policies. That’s why businesses, she says, can and should make their workplaces more hospitable to working mothers. Saujani’s latest project, the Marshall Plan for Moms, makes this pitch: Better work policies, like equal pay for moms and access to affordable childcare, are the cure.
